Experience the presence and the power of the body
The Somatic Bodywork Seminar is a powerful way to develop an empathetic, compassionate presence and listening while working with others in a variety of emotional states. This is valuable whether you are a coach, a bodyworker, a manager or hold a high-level executive position.
By developing your ability to formulate somatic assessments, you dramatically increase the learning curve of your clients and direct reports and accelerate their development.
You will also develop the ability to shift mood, build trust and increase your client's ability to focus on the somatic aspects that enhance or inhibit their current ambitions. Further focus is learning to work through the body to create new interpretations, new life stories, and new patterns of behavior and performance.
Individuals who attend the Somatic Bodywork Seminar are typically
professional coaches, somatic coaches, therapists, physical trainers and bodywork professionals who use bodywork techniques with clients. Business consultants, executives, teachers, entrepreneurs and other individuals attend the Somatic Bodywork Seminar for personal growth and to facilitate the development of people they work with. They report developing substantially keener observation and assessment skills.

The site for Somatic Bodywork Seminar in Siler City, NC, is not your general purpose hotel setting. Always seeking to find a quiet, beautiful, serene setting that would most resemble the Strozzi Institute (SI) site in California, we are fortunate to occasionally produce this Seminar in alliance with Body Therapy Institute (BTI) at their beautiful site in rural North Carolina. SI and BTI have been associated for many years, beginning with a long time friendship between the owners of BTI and Richard Strozzi-Heckler. In recent years, BTI has offered SI courses to their own network and the general public. We hope you will join us when we are next in the area.
