Somatic Spirit – A Path of Awakening

To be on a somatic path – a deepening into the life of the body, which is a deepening into the direct experience of life – one will ultimately find themselves engaged in matters of the Spirit. This course is an invitation to embark on a one-year course in the inquiry of Spirit and how a shift in consciousness can be transformative to all aspects of our life.
The deeper waters of awe, wonder, love, timelessness, and a knowing without understanding begin to come to the foreground of our living. The personal self becomes less central and our interconnectedness becomes more obvious; we develop a profound sense of belonging to a greater whole. As we develop awareness, we become more effective in how we care for others, the planet and ourselves. The path of awakening and healing becomes a sacred obligation.
At Strozzi institute we say this obligation or service to the world is based on a shift in consciousness. It is not a shift for its own sake, although a deeper yearning may drive us to it, but a shift in order to help individuals and communities become self-healing, self-educating and self-generating.
This course is by invitation only. Students must have completed Strozzi Institute's Advanced Leadership Course and participate in an interview.
